Calling all Skilled Theatre Nurses – Scrub/Scout contract available!
Are you a passionate and experienced Scrub/Scout Nurse seeking a 2 month full time contract in a stunning location with accommodation/assistance provided!
Position: Scrub/Scout Nurse As a Scrub/Scout Nurse, you will play a vital role in the operating room, ensuring smooth and successful surgical procedures. You will work closely with our surgical team, maintaining a sterile environment, preparing surgical instruments and equipment, and providing exceptional patient care. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Scrubbing in and assisting the surgical team during procedures
- Ensuring adherence to strict infection control protocols
- Preparing and maintaining surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Collaborating with the surgical team to optimize workflow and patient outcomes
- Monitoring patients’ vital signs and responding to their needs
- Accurate and thorough documentation and record-keeping

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Substantial experience as a Scrub/Scout Nurse, preferably in a hospital setting
- Profound knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
