Position: Permanent Full time role

Pay: PH $65.86 + super based on exp & quals

Role Overview:

As a Registered Nurse in the oncology unit, you will play a crucial role in leading and sustaining high standards of clinical practice. This position involves close collaboration with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and promoting evidence-based nursing practices within your team.
  • Acting as a clinical expert and mentor, facilitating professional development among staff.
  • Assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care needs.

Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you should bring a robust clinical background and a passion for oncology nursing. You will also need:

  • Valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • At least 3 years of experience in oncology nursing.
  • A post-graduate qualification in a relevant field (highly regarded).
  • Experience in team education and training.
  • A clear understanding of legislative requirements governing nursing practice.
  • Knowledge of Quality Improvement processes and their application in a healthcare setting.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $65.86 + superannuation.
