Your Responsibilities:
As a locum Anaesthetic Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring patients’ safety and well-being throughout surgical procedures.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing and maintaining anaesthetic equipment
- Assisting anaesthetists in administering anaesthesia during locum shifts.
- Monitoring patients’ vital signs during surgeries.
- Collaborating with the surgical team for seamless operations during locum assignments.
- Ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols during locum assignments
Requirements:
- Certification as an Anaesthetic Technician or equivalent.
- Eligible to work in New Zealand with no restrictions.
- Adaptable to new hospital environments
- A current full APC and registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand.
- Proficiency in handling anaesthetic equipment during locum assignments.
- A strong grasp of anaesthetic techniques and protocols.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
- Outstanding teamwork and communication skills.
