Medical Imaging Technologist

We have an exciting opportunity for Medical Imaging Technologists with expertise in CT and General Radiography to join a one of our client hospitals nestled in a small town community within the South Island of New Zealand.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in CT and General Radiography
• Eligibility to obtain registration with the Medical Radiation Board of Technologists (MRTB)
• Relevant qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Responsibilities:

• Conducting diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans and general radiography examinations
• Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process
• Operating and maintaining imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols
• Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis
• Maintaining accurate patient records and producing high-quality imaging reports
• Adhering to professional and ethical standards in line with regulatory requirements
