Full-Time Registered Nurse - Anaesthetics

We are currently seeking experienced Anaesthetic Registered Nurses to join our Perioperative Team on a full-time basis, with part-time options also available for the right candidate. This role requires availability for on-call participation.
As a Perioperative Registered Nurse – Anaesthetics, your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensuring patient and staff safety
- Supervising, directing, and guiding team members; including Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care (RN only)
- Proactively assessing the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcomes
- Documenting in the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely, and in a timely manner using accepted abbreviations and terminology
Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 2 years of postgraduate RN experience in an acute perioperative environment
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Availability for participation in the on-call roster
- Commitment to quality patient care
- Compliance with national healthcare standards
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
