Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team in our Oncology Ward. You will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience whilst we care for them.
As a Nurse Unit Manager your responsibilities will include:
The position is responsible for providing clinical leadership to the Oncology ward to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes and quality management of all patients.
You will provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.
As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial, and material resources

Essential Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA
Working with Children check
Previous experience at NUM level or equivalent (min. 3 years)
Compliance with ACSQHC National standards
A strong commitment to developing in a management role
Computer literacy including MS office and various data bases
Ability to work cohesively within a team environment
Proven time management and prioritisation skills
Demonstrate a sound knowledge base in labor management
Demonstrated HR management experience
