About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional care to a diverse range of patients. Working alongside a team of doctors, GPs, nurses, and support staff, you’ll collaborate closely to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include:
  • Consulting with Geriatricians and GPs for diagnostic orders
  • Leading Advance Care Planning for residents
  • Providing expert advice on palliative care
  • Reviewing new clinical treatments, technologies, and interventions
  • Maintaining concise and accurate resident records
  • Leading educational activities for residents, consumers, and their carers

What You’ll Need
  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse with post-graduate qualifications as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Registration: Hold or be eligible for endorsement with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an RN, with at least 3 years in aged or community care
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the Nurse Practitioner Standards of Practice (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia)
  • Skills: Strong communication, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, busy setting
